Please join us in showing some extra love to:
Ruby Wagner, Mirosalva Dozal, Maria (Eppie) Ramirez, Anna Martinez, and Alexis Ramirez (not pictured, but always appreciated!)
We are so grateful for your hard work and dedication to our students. You all truly make a difference!

We hope you enjoyed the gifts, self portraits all the students recreated of you, and the drive by ballooning the staff showered you with all day long! We sure do love our Principals at RBE!

We also want to send a massive shout-out to our amazing local community and RBE families. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed a snack, and showed your support. It’s the participation of neighbors like you that makes our school community so strong!

We are so excited to announce registration is now open for the Get Fit Summer Program 2026! This program is for any incoming RBE 2nd Grade - 5th grade students to participate. The Get Fit team will be in contact with parents once registration has ended.

Today, we are taking a moment to celebrate the incredible individuals who are the first and last friendly faces our students see each school day!
A massive Thank You to all of our Cotulla ISD bus drivers for safely carrying our students throughout the year. Your dedication to safety and your care for our kids makes all the difference.
✨ Special Shout-Out to our RBE Team:
We want to give an extra special "thank you" to our very own Ramirez-Burks Elementary drivers:
Dora Garcia
Esmy Gonzalez
Jazmine Olivas
Thank you for going the extra mile (literally!) for our RBE family every single day. We appreciate you! 🍎💛

Join us this Wednesday as we celebrate students across neighboring districts. It’s going to be a day full of excitement and unforgettable moments!
Check out the flyer below for the full order of events, see you on Wednesday! 🙌

Attention RBE Get Fit Parents! 🏃♂️

Ms. Serena, Ms. Roxie, Ms. Carmen, Ms. Jen, and Ms. Marsha Martinez juggle countless responsibilities with grace, patience, and a positive attitude. They support our students, staff, and families in ways that often go unseen, but are always deeply felt.
We truly appreciate you!!💮

Here’s how it works: Per Grade level, the first class to spell "PIZZA PARTY" outside their classroom door between April 23rd - May 20th —meaning the fewest absences —will win a pizza party to celebrate their commitment and teamwork!!
That means every single person counts! If you’re here, on time, and ready to learn, you’re helping your whole class succeed.
Who’s hungry for pizza?!

REMINDER FOR TOMORROW
Attention Parents of Incoming RBE Pre-K Students that will be the age of 4 by September 1st.

Our RBE hallway is looking brighter than ever! To celebrate our amazing 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders finishing their final day of STAAR testing, the halls have been transformed with messages of encouragement and pride from our front office, counseling center and library staff.
You’ve worked hard, stayed focused, and shown everyone what RBE is made of. We are so proud of your dedication! Now, let’s finish the year strong! 💪✨

From handling the "big stuff" to making us laugh when we need it most, Mr. Garza makes our school a better place to be. Thanks for all you do, Mr. Garza! We’d be lost in the classroom without you. 🌯✨

National School Librarian Day 2026 was last weekend, April 4th so today, we’re sending a massive shout-out to the heart of our school: our librarian, Priscilla Gonzalez, and our librarian aide, Bonnie Castillo.
To most, it’s a room filled with shelves. But thanks to these two, it’s a sanctuary, a launchpad for imagination, and a place where every student feels seen and heard. Whether they are hunting down the perfect resource for a research project or finding that one "magic" book that turns a reluctant reader into a bookworm, their dedication is unmatched.
Thank you for fostering a love of stories and for keeping our school’s curiosity alive. We are so lucky to have you in our chapters! 📖❤️

Huge shoutout to one of our littlest heroes with the biggest heart! ❤️🎉
We are so incredibly proud to announce that Pre-K student Christian Espinoza is being recognized by the American Heart Association!
