Fourth grade students at RBE had an exciting time participating in Inventor Training as part of the 2nd Unit of the Reading/Language Arts Bluebonnet Curriculum!
With a fun game show theme, students worked collaboratively to complete a series of challenges designed to sharpen key reading and writing skills. They practiced identifying and using text evidence to support claims, applied transition words to sequence events while documenting their inventions, and crafted persuasive pitches to present their creations.
Along the way, they also built valuable research skills by exploring the lives and contributions of famous inventors such as Thomas Edison and Jacques Cousteau.
